The Human Resource Management Department offers a wide selection of undergraduate courses in Human Resources related areas including a set of interrelated organizational functions and processes. This includes staffing the organization, designing jobs and teams, training and developing skilled employees, assessing and rewarding employee performance, and maintaining and retaining employees.

Human Resource Management explores how the proper management of employees contributes towards organisational effectiveness. This major provides you with a thorough theoretical and practical grounding in the management of people and employment in Ghana and abroad.

You will study topics such as organisational behaviour, employment relations systems and processes, human resource planning, recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, occupational health and safety, work organisation, negotiation and conflict resolution, all of which will give you valuable skills as an employee in any given industry.
