To All Nigerian Graduands of the 16/17th Graduation Ceremony and ALL Nigerian Students of ANUC
Please note that it has become necessary for the University to charge a fee of $100US to offset expenses incurred in processing the NYSC registration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) in Abuja, Nigeria.
To eliminate fraudulent and spurious certificates being presented by students, FME now requires Universities to process NYSC on behalf of their graduates. Since last year, FME no longer deals directly with graduands. This necessitated ANU going to Nigeria to process NYSC registration on behalf of all applicants.
Graduands are free to choose what they want to do! However, it is important to note that ANU will not be able to process the NYSC Registration and placement if the fee is not paid to cover the expenses.
Also note that any graduand that returns after failing to register on their own will have to bear the full cost of the registration exercise on an individual basis!
Expenses will include: return air tickets (Accra-Abuja), accommodation, per diem, processing fee and other incidental expenses. Take note of this; each application requires two trips to Abuja, Nigeria (submission of documentation, and collection of NYSC letters).
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
